Coronavirus Update

We hope this note finds you and your furry loved ones safe and healthy! With the many changes in our lives resulting from the Coronavirus (COVID -19) crisis, our pets can be such a comfort to us as we learn to enjoy and endure staying at home and practicing social distancing.

We want you to know that Truckee-Tahoe Pet Lodge (TTPL) is committed to being here for you during this time. We are ready to pamper your four-legged family members in whatever ways will help make this a safe and comfortable time for you and your pet.

At TTPL, the health and well-being of your pet and family are our top priority. We have taken every possible measure to keep our facilities operating in a safe manner and have continually evolved our procedures based on current circumstances. Pet care staff will be here to take care of your pets and are eager to accommodate you, our client, as best we can. Here is some other important information regarding our current operations:

  • We plan to remain open regular business hours.
  • In order to protect the health of our staff and clients, we request that any clients showing signs of illness remain at home and not bring their pets to our facility.
  • For existing day care clients, we’re offering valet service. You can call us when you arrive, and a staff member will come out and get your dog(s) from you at your car.
  • We have implemented a social spacing procedure between employees, and employees and guests to ensure up to six feet of separation whenever possible.

For a limited time, we are offering additional discounts on our multi-day day care passes. Until March 31, to thank you for your continued support, you can take advantage of an additional 10% off our already discounted 10 and 20 visit passes. For your convenience, this purchase can be done by phone.

Truckee-Tahoe Pet Lodge will continue to actively monitor news and guidance from various public agencies about the Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis and will abide by recommendations put forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the state of California as well as the Town of Truckee and Nevada County officials.

Again, our goal is to remain open and continue to provide a safe environment for our staff, clients and guests.
