Premium Dog Boarding Near Incline Village, NV
Trusted Overnight Dog Care for Incline Village Pet Parents
When a Lake Tahoe getaway means leaving the dog behind, Truckee-Tahoe Pet Lodge gives Incline Village pet parents somewhere better than a hotel kennel to leave them. Our resort-style facility sits just over the ridge in Truckee, CA, and it's built around the idea that boarding should feel like a second home, not a holding pattern — an approach that's earned us glowing recommendations from area veterinarians and repeat "Best Of" recognition from Tahoe Quarterly Magazine and the Sierra Sun.
Dogs traveling from Incline Village, Crystal Bay, and the surrounding North Shore communities are regulars here, and the short trip around the lake is a small price for the peace of mind that comes with knowing exactly who's watching your pup. Boarding starts at $55.95 per night, and pet parents can layer on extra activities to round out the stay.

About Incline Village, NV
Dogs in Incline Village live pretty well already — between Incline Beach, Hidden Beach's rocky coves, and the trails winding up toward Diamond Peak, it's a town built for pet parents who like to get outside with their dogs rather than just around the block. Sand Harbor and the broader Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park sit just down NV-28, drawing leashed dogs and their people for lakeside walks, while the Flume Trail and the Spooner Lake backcountry give more adventurous pairs somewhere to really stretch their legs.
That same outdoorsy standard is exactly why so many Incline Village pet parents don't want a generic hotel room for their dog when they travel — they want a stay that matches the kind of life their dog already has at home. It's a big part of why the short drive around the lake to Truckee is worth it when it's time to book boarding.
Getting to Truckee-Tahoe Pet Lodge From Incline Village
From Incline Village, head northwest on NV-28 along the lake toward Crystal Bay — this stretch hugs the shoreline and is one of the prettier drives on the North Shore. At Crystal Bay, continue onto CA-267 and climb Brockway Grade toward Truckee; the full trip is about 18 miles and typically takes 25 to 30 minutes depending on traffic and time of year. Once you're in Truckee, follow CA-267 down into town, then take Donner Pass Road toward West River Street. Truckee-Tahoe Pet Lodge is located at 10960 West River Street #106E, on your left as you approach the river.
